Wherever you are in your college search journey, our Great Scott Open House events will give you the information that you need. You will hear from our admission counselors, professors and current students; you will also learn about our nationally recognized SUMMIT experience, gain insight into academics and student life and get an idea of how we’ll prepare you for professional success.

Great Scott events are open to high school students, transfer students and their families. You may choose between our two dates, one in-person and one virtual event.
Join us on campus to learn about our SUMMIT experience, engaging student community, and take a campus tour from current students! This event is open to all high school students and transfers. Parents and families are welcome to attend as well!

Join us for our virtual Great Scott event to learn about Agnes Scott's innovative SUMMIT experience, hear from some incredible faculty members and interact with current students. During this event, you will gain further insight into our academics and student life and see how our Scotties lead everywhere. High school students, transfer students and guests are encouraged to attend this event.

What You Need to Know About the Great Scott Grant:
The Great Scott Grant is a $1,000 scholarship renewable for up to four years of study at Agnes Scott, with a total grant amount of no more than $4,000. Prospective students who attend at least ONE of the Great Scott events this fall, who also apply and are admitted to the college for the 2025-2026 academic year, will receive the Great Scott Grant listed on their financial aid package.
No. High school freshmen, sophomores and juniors who attend one of the Great Scott events this fall are not eligible to receive this grant upon their eventual application or admission to Agnes Scott. Additionally, students who decide to or who are already taking a Gap Year are not eligible for the Great Scott Grant.
Yes. Agnes Scott merit-based scholarships and need-based grants are stackable with one exception. The grant cannot be added to any full tuition, room and board scholarships.
